What is Custom Music Sessions
Created by Scott Gerow and Doug Frasure at Red Dragon Music Productions
Studios, Custom Sessions is a method of production that addresses the
needs of artists, writers, and publishers who want quality, efficient, affordable
projects that are tailored to each client’s artistic vision. Our focus is to
provide a creative place for artist/writers to produce projects without the
typical pressures of studio clocks and the assembly line mentality that is so
prevalent.
We are offer regular group sessions with a limited number of slots to take
advantage of the efficiency, convenience, and affordability of a group session
while preserving the uniqueness of each individual's project. We are a one
stop house for pre-pro, tracking, overdubs and mixing, eliminating the
irritation of producing and then re-producing while maintaining efficiency,
consistency and a productive climate. Our A list players share the philosophy
of working efficiently, encouraging a creative vibe, and crafting parts that are
unique to each client. Furthermore, we use set pricing to take the clock out
of the picture and to eliminate the pressures found in typical factory recording
sessions.
Our goal is to create a setting tailored to the Artist, Songwriter and Publisher
who desire a more personal approach to their work. We offer a place where
clients can sit with the producer and band leader, before hand, to discuss pre
production…an environment where artists can feel free to express their ideas
and be a part of the production process. We offer a creative atmosphere
where clients can produce a project, custom made for their artistic intentions.
